Jambo! Ciao! Kon'nichiwa! Hello!
My name is Elissa Title. I am a graphic designer, photographer, travel blogger and wildlife conservation advocate.
I’ve documented my experiences to seven continents and nearly sixty countries through travel photography, leading to publications in the Los Angeles Times, Africa Geographic, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, a photo essay in Wildlife Photographic, gallery shows in Europe, and more. Some of my favorite destinations include the remote Arctic where I photographed a polar bear stranded on an island, Botswana where human development stresses the waterways of the Okavango Delta, and British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest where oil tankers threaten marine biodiversity. I've seen extreme poverty, declining animal populations, and the consequences of human development on nature motivating me to utilize photography as an educational tool. My end goal? I hope to inspire others to travel more sustainably and engage with the world around them.

As a visual communicator, I have the ability to empower others through the content I produce.

I also visualize my experiences through graphic design. I've made it my mission to create straightforward, minimalist designs, often incorporating my original photography, that resonate with individuals to make them more aware of their global impact. While the vast majority of my work highlights social awareness issues, I occasionally dabble in intricate vector illustrations and textile design. From developing complex ecotourism brand strategies for a non-profit, to creating social awareness advertisements for lion conservation, to re-branding a cultural museum to attract a new target audience, I view design as visual communication.
